At MoneyPlus Telecoms, we hope that you’ll be happy with our service but we know sometimes things don’t work out. Below we’ve explained your rights and what happens if you decide to cancel your service with us but please let us know if you have any questions.
Your right to cancel
You have the right to cancel your service at any time and for any reason. You are under no obligation to
tell us why you want to leave but explaining this will help us to continue improving our services, so we
are grateful for any feedback you can give.
When you first receive your sim card, you have a period of 14 days in which you can decide not to proceed. Simply let us know and we’ll cancel the service for you, and you’ll only have to pay for any calls, texts or data you’ve used in that period
Once the period of 14 days ends, you can still cancel at any time but you will need to provide us with at least 30 days’ notice of this.
What happens when I cancel?
If you decide not to proceed in the first 14 days of your contract (after you’ve received your sim card),
we will cancel your service and your sim card will be disabled within three working days of receiving your
request. You won’t be able to use your sim card from then and you will only be charged for any calls,
data, or texts that you have used in that period, up to the amount of your standard monthly payment.
If you choose to cancel after these 14 days have elapsed, your service will continue for 30 days from the date we receive your cancellation request. You will be charged your normal monthly fee for this period and can continue using your sim card until the 30 days have expired. Because you committed to a twelve month contract at the start of your service, you may be liable to pay the remainder of the contractual payments at the end of the 30 day notice period, depending on the length of time remaining in accordance with Clause 16.4 of our Terms and Conditions.
You do not need to return your sim card to us when you cancel.
How do I cancel?
If you decide you don’t want to continue our service, we’ll be sorry to see you go but you can notify us
by calling 0161 509 4777.
